They have numerous models that may not be designed for the 9-5 Wagon but, will work. I have a 9-3 Sedan and have leant my Thule rack to a friend who has a car like yours at it works fine. Just sitting on the tailgate with the straps at the top and bottom of the rear hatch. Hope that helps. Mike Morten
