Hi John. This is true, but in the original post, we were talking about open airfilters NOT "ground level intake! The meaning of the intake beneath the frontspoiler is to simply send air up to the AMM, where the open filter is located. So NO flushing water would get into the engine anyway! You can follow the link and see what it looks like (small bad pic, but you can get the idea).
