The gearing ratio (often quoted as MPH/1000RPM) I've always wondered what RPM people are cruising at in there classic 900s. In my 1984 900, I'm at about 3200 RPM at 80 MPH. The engine seems to be revving pretty high at the speed, so if I go faster it's usually only for bursts (passing). Assuming it's in good condition (which mine is at 130K mi.), can the old classic 900 2.0 really handle cruising at 3800 RPM? Must be loud... -jw
