This should get you right to the IDS > info: http://www.saabusa.com/home/US/en/ids/index.html Couple of details on IDS. (I got a 9-3 through IDS about a year and a half ago, and although from Canada, I am sure most details are the same from the US.) (1) Yes they had then a promotion on plane tickets. I don't think they do currently. In any event, this is only of value if you would need to buy tickets no matter what. (2) I believe the drop off surcharge depends *only* upon the drop off point, not on when you drop the car off. (3) As to insurance, you pay for whatever time period you need it; they offer you a price list starting with a minumum period much shorter than six months. And BTW it's not terribly cheap compared to what you would pay at home. (In my case, I spent six months in Europe then six months in the US, and I had them ship the car to the US rather than Canada. So when I actually imported the car back to Canada, I had been away for over a year as as a result, I got a big discount on taxes and duties, making the operation worthwile.)
