In the US they have a reputation of being driven by arrogant snobs who think they own the road - and the parking spaces, the reservations at the restaurant, etc. It's just great to see how many BMW drivers are so important that they are allowed to park in Fire Lanes and Handicapped spaces even though they are not firemen and are not handicapped. While I don't like to stereotype, I haven't met a BMW driver yet who didn't confirm the stereotype for me. >If all you care about is perfect handling and image, get a 3-series. >If you want to be a bit different, have more fun in the long run, and >pay less in the long run, buy the Saab! BMW = Boring Motor Works. On step from a Mercedes. Saab = different, challenging (to drive correctly) and aggressive (nothing compares to a turbo winding up). While I find the classic 900 an odd looking European throwback (no flames from you classic guys :-) the NG900/9-3 convertible is a well executed, flowing design. Bob
