To test the fan, first locate the correct relay, 1 for each fan, located in the clear topped plastic relay/fuse box on the front wheel arch. Remove relay. make a short jump wire. Insert wire in the middle (top and bottom) holes of the relay socket, front to back. The fan will come on if everything works. This is a good emergency tip if the fans fail due to faulty temp sensor wiring etc. It is possible to bridge the two connections and then insert the relay over the top. The fan will then run all the time the ignition is on, allowing safe travel home. This advice is given without any recourse or responsibility taken for innacuracy etc etc...
