Hi, I had a similar thing with a 1990 900 turbo 16s, and the replaced just
the clutch release bearing which helped. It's still not feather light to
depress
the clutch, but it is considerably better than it was before they replaced
the bearing.
It's also considerably less than a new clutch assembly.
