The heat/AC air distribution rotary switch on my wife's 2000 9-3 convertible jammed at about 14,000 miles, breaking the plastic knob. This is a manual HVAC system, not the automatic climate control found on the SE models. The dealer's service mgr. has told us the problem is the "heater box" & will take 4-5 days to replace, thankfully under warranty. He also said they are replacing one virtually every week! Is this a common 9-3 problem? Do the replacements hold up? Thanks for any replies. Tom
