Yes. I have moved on to the 9-5 and have sold my 9000 workshop
manual, but the procedure is something like put car on lift,
disconnect some items like the left driveshaft and then unbolt
the left part of the subframe. The subframe then folds down
giving access to the gearbox. Remove the gearbox.
On the 9-5 the subframe does not fold, instead the whole subframe
complete with front suspension is removed (but you didn't want to
know that).
