As the 9000 has a electrical speedometer, check you cables/lines at the back
of your dash. Remove the screws at the side of the front speakers. Slightly
remove the speaker cover towards you. You will notice some screws (just
under the front window) after you removed the speaker cover. There are
screws at the side as well. Remove these too. Open your glove comp. and
remove the rubber plug. Behinde these you'll find screws again. After
removing these you can lift of the complete top of the dash and check the
cables. (All with care........ never done somthing at you Saab? then don't
do this but ask a mechanic)
By the way, the dash I'm talking about was of a 9000 without airbags.... If
your car has one/some, take extra care or better, leave them alone ;-)
Good luck
