Subject: HELP!  Stuck Hood!



I have a 1988 900 Base.  My hood will not release.  Looking under the car
the latch seems to be releasing but the hood will not pop.  We tried to pull
it open while holding the release lever.  Is there a possibility that the
cable is stretched and the latch is not releasing far enough?  I'm 1000
miles overdue on my regular 3000 mi oilchange.
