I considered the Audi A6, the BMW 528i, the Mercedes E-300, the Volvo S80, the Cadillac Catera, the Lincoln LS, and the Jaguar S-Type. ALL very good cars. There are too many 528i's and E300's in Silicon Valley, so I dumped them immediately. The S80 was a good car, but I couldn't live with how the rear of the car looked. The Catera was very surprising, but Cadillac is launching the CTS next year, and I didn't want my car out of date so fast. The LS and the S-Type were very good cars, but not roomy enough inside, and since I'm 6'3" and broad shouldered, I need room. That left the A6 and the 9-5 Aero. Both were equal in all respect, IMHO. But believe it or not, it came down to really nit-picky things. I couldn't stand the Audi's lack of rear-spoiler and that it looked a bit to "marshmallowy" in the rear. AND the Arm Rest was WAY too high and really bugged me. So.... I got the 9-5. :) >> I don't realize much body roll.. The seats lack the lateral support during hard cornering. (Yeah... I drive aggressively.) The seats just don't hold you in place. The Viggen's seats have sufficient support. :) But I can't complain. I LOVE my car.
