I'm driving an '89 SPG nicely maintained, but some 'buzz' when shifting erm.... in a sprightly fashion... between 1st & 2nd. also 2nd & 3rd. Worn synchro's, been advised to go easy and it'll last a long time yet. Locally available is another '89 NON-turbo, a bit less appealing than mine, generally, but with a nice tight 5-spd. tranny. (I just drove it tonight). Original owner, maintained by the same mechanic as my own, not abused, etc. Am I nuts to think about buying this other '89 and swapping the transmissions? If so, why/why not. Quick, before I do something foolish.... Thanks Lloyd *****
