Subject: dead battery problem



I have a problem with my 88 900S Saab it has the 16 valve engine and
automatic.  I been having this problem on this car.  It has been driving me
and my mechanic crazy.  I can drive this car for about a week with no
problems then I jump into it the next day and the battery is dead.  The
mechanic says the alternator is putting out fine and there are no shortage
or current draws when the key is off.  We are baffled.  Has anyone had this
problem or know a possible way to correct it.  Any ideas would be more than
welcome.
