There's a nifty tire size calculator at http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html The car will be moving slightly faster than indicated on the speedometer. Just make sure the tire does not rub against the fender: 1) turn the wheel all the way to the right and the left and see if the tire contacts the fender 2) inspect the tire carefully to make sure it does not contact the wheel well when you go through road irregularities (particularly at speed).
