is that your your real name gupgo? I call my cats thst sometimes, hehe well the best thing you can do, is get a non TCS brain box, and install it, along with the normal style pedal assembly, along with with a non tcs throttle body ( like that off a 91 9000T) you also need a few other things, but these are the bigest ones that I can remeber the TCS systems on the early 9000 STINK! I would never buy a 9000 with TCS unless it was so cheap, that I could afford to convert it to non TCS includied in the price of the car. good luck finding this stuff in junkyard a SAAB dealer will give you the part #'s Mark "Gupgo" <kurt.heuvelmansnopsamora.be> wrote in message news:3b41ba2a.2172581nopsam.pandora.be... > Hi, > > TCS (Traction Control System or the Thing Constantly Sucks) sometimes > refuses to do it's job when restarting the car on a warm day (not > common in Belgium ;-). > The car switches to the very annoying 'limp-mode' and when you leave > it alone for some time, everything turns to normal again. > I am beginning to get sick and tired of the 9000-TCS: very vulnerable > IMHO, difficult to get the right diagnosis and big-time money to get > fixed. > Ok, here's something positive too: I like my 9000 a lot! :-) > > any help appreciated and friendly greetings, > > Gupgo > > '92 9000 CS 2.3 turbo manual, 180.000 km
