I have an '87 Saab 900 Turbo that I have been advised to get rid of. My mechanic just doesn't want to work on it anymore. I used to be able to take it to a guy who worked on it on the side but he is no longer available. The car has 236,000 miles on it but is running fine at the moment. All my mechanic would do was put new brake pads on front and back but it needs work on the steering (tie rod ends). The car is black - the body is in ok shape but starting to rust. I have a damaged front drivers' side fender but have a new one in a box that I never had put on. The car has power windows and sunroof, they all work. Wipers, radio, tape deck, (with a cool equalizer), lights, heat, etc. work. A/C doesn't work and I never bothered to get it fixed. I live in the Albany, NY area and was wondering if anyone had any advice. I would like to get something for the car so that I can put it towards another one but have no idea what to ask. If I had a place to store it or someone to work on it I would keep it but I don't have either. Thanks, Carole
