Subject: Re: Turbo Cooling

It is the oil. My 88 9kt has ~140k miles, changed the oil the first time at 500 miles, then a 1,000, then every 1,500 to 2,000, but always with regular Castrol. Have driven hard as hell for 13 years, cracking over a hun every day. car was chipped new. In any event, at about 110k, the turbo began getting noisy until car was at running temp. switched to full syn. castrol, and after a severalk changes, the turbo noise went away.
