The 9-5 feels perfectly stable at 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, >140. I would like to say 150... But I've only taken it to 148 (speedometer >reading). :-) I'll add this: While on vacation this past week, I had occasion to drive over a long stretch of a limited-access state highway where the road surface had been "screed" -- that is, ground down to a very rough, patchy, rumbly surface before being repaved. My 9-5 SE V6 had no problem maintaining 75 MPH + over this surface, without loss of control. The road noise was horrendous, and identified several interesting resonances between tire tread and body panels, but it didn't faze the car's handling abilities... even with three passengers besides myself. The problem with the 9-5 isn't a lack of handling. It's looking down and realizing you were doing 95, even though you were *sure* you were only doing 65, because that's how much "in control" you were... -- Rob Levandowski roblnopsamhiz.com (Opinions expressed are solely my own and not a statement from my employer)
