Last info I got from the shop was 5 or ten seconds. I just did this on my 93 Saab 900, and it only took 5 seconds. It took me 4 days to find the answer of how to clear a misentered code without taking it into the Dealer. If that doesn't work, pop the cmos batter and reinstall it, that will certainly clear the memory, though it may also clear the factory code, necessitating some method of keypunching to set a new one. Wish someone would publish the "crack" to this problem once and for all, as the only ones who suffer from radio code problems are Saab owners, as what self-respecting stereo thief would traffic in Clarion?
