Hi All The AC in my 83 Saab 900s is shot. I was quoted $1500 from the Saab to replace it. I found the A/C compressor for $200 and thought I'd do it myself. If you have any suggestions before I take this on, please let me know. I figured saving $1200 or so is worth trying. Side note, when the auto is running, heat is constantly coming out of the side vents. Apprently the valve is working (correctly?) but thought I would see if anyone else is experienced this problem as well. I'm a new Saab owner and although I'm not too nervous about tearing things apart in the name of repairing them, I figured I could save some time trying to get some information first.
