Everybody assumed that the first 9-3 to be introduced would be a hatchback. But, Saab always used to say 'We don't need a wagon as we have the hatch' so maybe they now put it the other way around. Also, Audi and BMW, on which Saab focusses, don't have hatchbacks. I believe you :-) > my guess is 2 door, 4 door, 3 door wagon, 5 door wagon, 2 door convertable. my guess is now: 3-door 'coupe' (read that just this week), 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door conv. I don't know what you mean with a 3-door wagon, seems pretty strange, like a shooting break... Also, I do not expect a 2-door... Or it should be the famous Sonett IV which we don't expect anymore. > > He DID say that AWD is soon "in the near future" but didnt say much else. Steyr-Puch is probably busy doing that. They are contracted by Saab to develop and build the conv. (in stead of Valmet). That car is expected in 2003. Did Chasins tell you when the 9-3 will be presented? -Geert > > that much I am really happy about > > > > SAAB on > > Mark > 91 SPG w red APC and new tranny > > "> > Dan Chasins is the CURRENT President Of Saab USA! > > > > > > nuff said > > > > > > > > I talked with Dan Chasins this past wekend at the SOC, and he said > > there > > > > are > > > > > no plans in the near future for a 2 seater SAAB. > > > > > > > > > > > > > Who is Dan Chasins...?
