Subject: '89 9000CDS Fuel pump



Hi all,

I've narrowed down my starting problems to the fuel pump on my '89 9000CDS.
Is it really immersed in the fuel tank like my Haynes manual suggests?  I've
got a full tank of petrol & don't want to risk flooding the boot with the
stuff if I try to remove it.
