I'm also in favour of great ride quality (comfort), but I also want the accurate handling. Bear in mind that I went from a 195/60-15 to the 215/45-17, so my change was even more significant than it'll be for you. I must say that my worries went away, as I still find the ride very pleasant. We've just come home from Saab gatherings in Finland and Sweden (drove 4000 miles in 10 days), and the roads there weren't always the best. Still, the comfort was great! And I REALLY like the steering accuracy with the 215-wheels. Btw. I git Yokohama A539 tires, which I can highly recommend! The have great grip in the wet and the noise-level is fine. Although you can get the ECU reprogrammed, I'd still keep it as it is, as the speedo's ALWAYS has some error reading. And this will be somewhat corrected with the 215-wheels. Good luck on your future wheels! Cheers!
