I have a 97 9000 Aero and am considering putting a trailer hitch on it so that I can tow my family's kayaks down to the river. I'm talking about 100 lbs total boat weight plus the tongue weight of the trailer. I have a 5 speed trans. Does anyone have any experience pulling a trailer with their Saab? Is this a really bad idea? Can a hitch be welded to the undercarriage of the car? Thanks!
