But according to AutoExpress, the new 9-5 model has reduced roll and better handling balance. How soft a car should be is a matter of individual taste. Most American cars are soft and wallowing. I know that I'm generalizing terribly here based on impressions from cop movies. Mercedes is soft in my opinion, but you get a nice pleasant ride. In other expensive cars you get adjustable damper setting, even some which automatically senses the driving style. My 9000 CSE is fitted with 16/55/205 wheels/ tires; it is firm but enjoyable to drive accurately. > Having had 2 900's and a 9000 I like the 900's better, it just seems like less > stuff goes wrong on them. The red warning lights inside the doors, the illuminated vanity mirrors. Johannes
