I'm experienceing the same thing on a '93 9000. Just got a rebuilt turbo put on. The engine power drops violently when I get the boost up to about the yellow-red transition on the boost gauge. So is there an overboost shut off that cuts ignition if mainifold pressure gets too high? Wouldn't the blow off valve do the same thing? I can hear the blow off valve working when I shift gears.
