Jaguar has a traditional naming system like this: D-type, E-type, S-type and now X-type. I don't think the letter X means anything in particular in this case. A 2.0 V6 FWD X-type is definitely on its way, the price should undercut a top range Ford Mondeo, the car on which the X-Type is based. A bit of opportunism perhaps. Johannes
