Plus the freone > (sp) I'm at around $1400, with no guarantee of success Hoses aren't special - round here I can take an A/C hose to my local hydraulic company and they will re-use the original connector with new hose, for much less than the price of a new hose. (£60 - $90 for the longest hose I had repaired). Power to the compressor should be a relatively simple fix (assuming the diagnosis is correct). R12 in the UK is still about £50/£60 for an A/C engineer to call out, evacuate/clean and recharge the system. I had most of this stuff done last year on my 9000, and with the exception of a new compressor if required, the other jobs are all much cheaper than you've been quoted. As a previous poster noted, Saab aren't necessarily the cheapest or best qualified to work on A/C. -- Regards, Danny http://www.gaggia-espresso.com (a purely hobby site) http://www.dannyscoffee.com (UK advert for my mobile espresso service) swap Z for above characters in email address to reply
