I need some advice if that's possible. I already own a P reg. 900S, bought from Westcars here in Glasgow. I've had it 18 months, but it's getting sold soon to be replaced by a new MINI. Given that BMW dealer's trade-ins prices are not the best in the world i'm thinking about selling the Saab privately, and just getting something to kick around in for a couple of months. Well that was the original plan at least. I've always fancied an old 900, and it seems a good chance to look into getting one. My wife likes them , and thanks to it's safety pedigree, it's probably the only old car I'd ever get her to drive. So to cut a long story short we're starting to look at an old 900 as a second car to keep, not just as a stop gap. The pros are: well it's always nice to have a second car, it'll be handy to have a big car as the new MINI is many things, but spacious it's not, and sad thought this might be, it'll be great to have another Saab, and soften the blow of selling Pia (Swedish name for a Swedish car!) Nothing spectacular, just about £500 - £1000, low enough to justify as a second car / gap filler, and probably paid for by the money well make in selling our own privately. Is this a reasonable price or am I being optimistic? Any suggestions you have will be welcome. It's not an urgent thing, as I reckon we won't be selling the 900 for a few months yet, but all advice welcome thanks
