Charlie, A little oil in the cylinders. Manually turn the engine over by hand (wrench) to feel if it is smooth. Change all the fluids, try to start it. It will probably require new rubber (hoses, etc). To bring it to daily driver status will require awhile to get the bugs worked out so be patient. I may be willing to take it off your hands if it is somewhere near the Midwest. regards, Keith "charlie" <charlie3nopsam.com> wrote in message news:h_Fe7.33342$K6.13688796nopsam2... > I have a 1980 5 door turbo with an unusual history and some decisions to > make. http://community.webshots.com/album/19319941hTEIFKkocQ > > I bought the car in 1983 in immaculate like new condition with 12,000 miles > on the odometer.
