I think I'm having this problem with my '93 9000 auto. I can sometimes get around it by taking the car in and out of park. I had one bad moment when the ignition cut in and tried to start the car whilst I was in traffic. This caused the inhibitor switch to catch fire and burnt out the gear selector. So should I try a new ignition switch? Cheers, Mark.
