Subject: Re: How do you bypass TCS on '92 - '93 9000's?

I installed the kit from the dealer on my 93 Aero. It was +/- $75.00 US and consisted of a switch that shorts one pin in the TCS module. Took about an hour to install. It is can only be activated when traveling less than 37mph and it does not eliminate any TCS woes. It is a momentary switch that resets when the car is restarted. It is most useful when some wheel slip is needed. The TCS can prevent any forward motion on glare ice or starting off on a very slippery hill, gravel, snow or ice. I have used it only rarely but it was worth the effort to install.
