Don't laugh too hard, but there is a new type of Playdoh(?) that air dries over night to a hardness slightly less than ceramic. My kids came home with some sculptures made from this stuff, which they painted and gave as gifts. Look for it where you would buy school and art supplies. I had an old Saab with Bondo/fiberglass fenders - because the steel rusted away. I used an aluminum mesh with adhesive on one side to form the shape. I then applied Bondo with fiberglass filler over this shape in generous portions. I roughly shaped it and painted it black. thompson wrote: > I am trying to fix up the fenders on my old '84 to go for another state > inspection.
