Took my '00 9-5 in for the 20K service yesterday, and the tech neglected to clear the TIME FOR SERVICE alert that appears on the SID when you start the car. When I pointed this out (the next day), the service advisor revealed that you can do this yourself: press CLEAR briefly, then press and hold it until it beeps TWICE.
