Hello All, Just thought that I would let you all know that I have at last got my aircon fixed! I saw a couple of people who started telling me all sorts of horror stories about how much could be wrong with it, and how much it could cost, so I gave a 3rd chap a try (3rd time lucky!) anyway, after a small charge for looking at the system and a bit of playing about he concluded that the fault was a £25 pressure switch which was faulty. Apparently the switch detects the amount of gas in the system and if its to low it shuts the compressor down to prevent damage. Switch now replaced and aircon working fine!
