I don't know how true the story is. I've never seen a tractor with a Ford V4, but that Taunus V4 (built by Ford of Germany) later came to the US as a Ford Industrial engine. My neighbor has a forklift with that engine in it; I was happy to be able to supply him with some parts he needed, in exchange for a nylon timing gear that he had for it. Dave Hinz
