I lean towards all seasons myself, but I'm not in Toronto, I'm in the Northeastern USA. I suspect your winters have more snow. Down here, we end up driving on snow covered roads or in a snowstorm for only a few days each winter. The other days, you are driving on dry, or just wet roads - where snow tires are notably terrible. I can't see using (snow) tires that are poor handling, noisy, and rough riding all through the winter for just a few actually snow covered days. There are a fair number of icy days - but snow tires don't help there unless you have studs. I bought Pirelli P7000 all Seasons last year and they are terrific in all conditions, including some seriously snowy roads and large storms. However, they were new, and the winter season is the one that wears off tires first, so we'll see this year. Bob
