never heard of a lens coming out. Just be sure to use the european lights instead of the US std 1157 bulbs for the tail/brake lights. The 1157 draws more curent, gets hotter and can melt the lens. I do not know what the number is on these, but they are available from most parts stores. the display degeneration is a 'known problem' and expensive to replace. May be available as a display only (read: solder in) from an electronic supply place if you take it apart and get a number or at least teh display size.
