I think there's something in the FAQ. The part where the books are wrong is on the toe in. Ask for zero toe in at the alignment shop. They'll look at you funny and probably ask you to sign off on it, but it will prserve your tires from wearing on the outside. THere are camber and caster specs that can help the handling too.
