LOL Not a doc, I'm an EMT. We get to pick 'em up & clean & package them, before the docs get them. Keys can make a *nasty* dent in a knee, when the knee approaches at, say, 60 miles an hour. Never had a problem with the location of the keys for the reason you cite above, either...the gear shift is a *much* bigger obstacle in the front seat area. Dave
