Subject: Converting from R-12 to R-134



Just had our 91 9000 in for service of the A/C system.  It has a leak in it
and the cost is $218 for 39 oz. of freon plus service charge for repairing
the leak, an "O" ring.   Is this a good time to convert to R-134?  Is there
any factory kits?  For this particular system what is the "best" or most
reliable procedure complete this job. The compressor appears to be good.
