Subject: Engine idles erratically



Today my SAAB 900i 2.1l with 270.000 km. was difficult to start. When the
engine ran eventually it was running erratically at idle. Pressing the
accelerator up to 1500 RPM the engine was running well. Than back to idle
the engine was erractic again and stalled.

There is also a second fuel system installed: Liquified Petrol Gas (LPG).
When running on LPG idle is smooth. The engine performance is godd also on
LPG.

The engine have to start on gasoline. When the RPM is stable and pressing
the accelerator will make the system switch from gasoline to LPG. So the
gasoline system must be in good order to start the engine.

Any ideas?
