Mine was a 1974 144. I ran it into a light pole after it got out of control on a winding road (it looked and handled like a tank). I recall the crappy pivot window latches that kept dropping off. I recall the universal joints that kept failing. I recall the crude bumpy Borg-Warner AT and the high cost of parts. Bought a Nissan with the insurance money and fell in love with Japanese cars ever since then (1980).
