Causten, In the 85 - 90 vintage I would recommend a 900 over the 9000. The 9k's were a little less reliable in those days, whereas the 900's are known to be pretty bulletproof. In the 900 I would stay away from an automatic at all costs. The engine is a bit undersize (without a turbo) for the car weight and having a slushbox on it makes it seem even more so. If you move up to the 90 - 95 time frame I would say the 9000 is a better deal and most of them came with autos (since they were supposed to be luxury cars). Happy shopping.
