I don't think I'd call Toyota an economy car company since they make such models as Camry, Avalon, 4Runner...none of those are economy cars. And as for turning profits, yes, they sell what turns a profit, and the Supra didn't turn a profit because America got really pathetic and stopped buying sports cars.
