Oh yeah, just love the torque-steer and sliding right off the road. You hit the corner too fast in that piece of shit and you just slide and slide. Have to get on the brakes or it's into the curb/wall for you. Hit a corner too fast in a Porsche Boxster (or any rear-driver for that matter) and you just get a little power oversteer and you're fine. A stock Porsche Boxster holds .92 g on the skidpad and the Saab 9-3 SE pulls a meager .77 g (both figures from Car and Driver). Oh and someone mentioned 70-0 braking. The same C&D issue lists that as being 196 feet (which is bad by the way). Also from that article, the Saab took last place in a test of Audi A4, BMW 325i, Lexus IS300, Benz C240, and Volvo S60. Of the Saab: "The geezer of the group, with lots of memories, not much future." I'd say that about sums it up. dizz wrote: > On Fri, 12 Oct 2001 02:11:53 GMT, Marc Escuro <mgescuronopsam.com> > wrote: > > >> Hey, what's it like trying to accelerate in a corner with that POS? > >> (Let me guess, you think it's just fine, which would be proof positive > >> of how clueless you are.) > > > > I have no problems accelerating through corners.
