What about PAS racks? I seem to be unlucky in that every one I buy, the steering develops 'morning sickness' or leaks, although usually they'll soldier on in this condition for years, with no assist to the right... What I find even more annoying, a friend buys a beater rust heap 900 for 100 quid with perfect steering.. What years have better PAS racks? Mine were '83 '84 and '87 cars.
