There is no need to have fog lights on when driving with high beams, in fact it's dangerous. High beam light is directed 50-70 meters ahead of your car. In a speed of 100 km/h, your best visibility is 2-3 seconds ahead. Fog lights are directed only 20 meters ahead and there is plenty of lightness in that area. Fog lights cheats your eyes and your vision is worse in the 50-70 meters area. In this case the best visibility is under one second ahead! Fog lights are designed to be used in speeds under 60 km/h. In faster speeds they are only an drawback to ones power of seeing.
