Fact is, they ain't what they used to be...either brand. Most (if not all) Toyotas sold in the US are no longer made in Japan. All SAABs made since 1994 are produced by a company which is 50%-owned by, cough cough, GM. Most of the "real" SAAB designs are now out of production. These new models resemble warmed over Opels. I'd take a preGM SAAB over anything and a Japanese-produced Toyota from the mid-to early 90s over just about everything else. Whose bright idea was it to cross-post these 2 brands into a contest anyway?
